Happy December! Welcome to the Carmichael Recreation and Park District Newsletter. We are excited to share with you the programs, events, and activities within the Carmichael district. Activity Guide

Winter Break Camp

Have a blast this Winter break at our Kids Camp! Kids will play games and sports, make arts and crafts, have fun with dance and drama, and socialize with new friends.

Tiny Tots Program

Pee Wee Basketball

Pee Wee Basketball is an introduction to team sports for Kindergarten and 1st grade children teaching them the basics of basketball focusing on teamwork and sportsmanship.

May contain: team sport, sport, sports, basketball, team, basketball court, and flooring

Elementary Basketball Leagues

Our basketball leagues focus on teaching players the fundamentals of the sport, showing good sportsmanship, and making the sport fun for all.

May contain: footwear, clothing, apparel, shoe, human, person, people, team sport, sport, team, sports, basketball, and basketball court

Wednesday 3-on-3 Basketball Leagues

Games are played half-court with teams keeping score and calling fouls. Teams can consist of all men, all women, or a combination of both.

5-on-5 Basketball Leagues

Our Monday night 5-on-5 Basketball League is open to adults 18 and over. Teams can consist of all men, all women, or a combination of both.

May contain: human, person, clothing, apparel, footwear, shoe, people, team sport, sport, sports, team, shorts, and flooring

Volleyball Leagues

Join our volleyball leagues at the La Sierra Community Center! We have leagues on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursday evenings. Skill levels vary.

Pickleball Drop-In Program

Come join us at the La Sierra Community Center for indoor pickleball. Our Johnson Gym has 5 indoor courts for drop-in play. If you have never tried pickleball come see what the craze is all about!
