Carmichael Recreation and Park District was given a Five Snaps Award by the California Parks and Recreation Society (CPRS) for the Carmichael Cares Kits!
The Five Snaps Award is given by the CPRS Executive Committee to agencies who are creating and innovating new programs and experiences for their communities in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. CRPD was given this award for the free Carmichael Cares Kits which was done in partnership with the Carmichael Parks Foundation and the Kiwanis Club of Carmichael with additional support from SJUSD, Carmichael Presbyterian Church, and World Relief. We are lucky to have such caring and supportive community partners! We are better together!
